A living project hub for mycelium
About us
We are a project hub that includes a farm, research platform, and creative ecosystem exploring fungi across food, architecture, materials, and culture. From fresh harvests to experimental courses and immersive residencies, we cultivate regenerative futures rooted in mycelium.
What we do

Cultivate
Educate
Innovate
We grow fresh, gourmet mushrooms in Silver Spring, Maryland, supplying local kitchens, chefs, and curious home cooks with nutrient-dense fungi. But cultivation is just the beginning.
We experiment with fungi as living infrastructure. From mycelium-based materials to regenerative design systems, we collaborate with researchers, artists, and entrepreneurs to expand what fungi can do for our planet.
Through courses, workshops, and international collaborations, we explore the science and application of mycelium in food systems, materials innovation, and architecture.

Featured projects
Applied mycelium across science, art and imagination.
Developments in Mycelium Applications (DMA)
An interdisciplinary learning initiative exploring fungi across food, beverage, materials, and entrepreneurship.
DMA brings together scientists, innovators, and practitioners to investigate how mycelium can shape sustainable industries.

Mycoresidency
A mushroom-art project.
2-week fungi and art course for
artists and anyone interested in creating with new fungi -based materials, sharing ideas
over mushie- infused dishes, and
expanding their artistic horizons.

Fungal Architecture Course
An experimental course exploring mycelium as a bio-based construction material.
We examine fungal systems as structural intelligence — rethinking architecture through living matter.

Mycoatlas
Applying for a grant from the British
Mycological Association to create a “mycoatlas” about all and everything fungi, with public input at events in various countries.
In collaboration with artist Luis Figeroa
and the Mexican “Museum of Living Paper”.
