The Dames Green Tables Committee is pleased to partner with All Caps for a Mushroom Foraging Workshop on Sunday, May 17, 2026 from 10am-1:30pm. The outing will be led by experienced house foragers and guests will learn how to forage responsibly, identify key species of mushrooms, and what to look for in the Mid-Atlantic region.
After the guided walk and collecting mushrooms, the group will gather at a set-up table for a hands-on identification session. This will include a deeper discussion of specimens collected or pre-foraged, best practices, ecological principles and safety considerations, and culinary applications with some on-site sampling of mushrooms prepare…
